This playing of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons is unlike any version I’ve heard before.  At once I love it–its ‘big-ness’, fierceness… And part of me recoils at the fierceness, feeling that is maybe to fierce.  Which is correct?  I don’t normally trouble myself regarding the proper way to play pieces–I go by how I respond, emotionally and bodily.  And I can feel THIS piece in my bones.  SO MUCH.  Each time I listen, I notice something new.
